✧ Because NiGHTS is essentially made of dream energy, they have the ability to delve into the dreams of sleeping people. Dreamers, or Visitors, as NiGHTS calls them, refers to anyone with the ability to sleep or dream. Being a little different from their nightmarish siblings, NiGHTS would only be interested in wandering around someone's subconscious, doing air-parkour and maybe fighting off nightmares. (If she feels like it.)

Since dreams are highly personal, this isn't something I could do without player permission. But I'm always interested in threading this kind of interaction!

So the point of this post is mostly for organizational purposes, as well as permissions! If you're interested in threading a dream encounter, just drop a comment down below and we can organize something, whether that means threads within dreams or people calling NiGHTS on wandering around in there.

✧ If you would like NiGHTS to able to go into the dreams of your character, I have one request: pick 2-4 of the following traits that shines at an outstanding rate in your character's personality. In the dream realm, these five traits manifest as small, colorful balls of light that hover around the dreamer, called Ideya. I say 2-4 because to have all five is exceptionally rare, and NiGHTS would be shocked if more than a handful of people had them. They are, in order, white for Purity, yellow for Hope, green for Growth, blue for Wisdom, and red for Courage.

(The red Ideya of Courage itself is pretty rare, but also much less so than having all five. Of course, since we're dealing with extraordinary characters from a range of canons, I'm expecting this to be decently common. Expect some head-scratching confusion from NiGHTS!)

Dᴜᴀʟɪᴢɪɴɢ
✧ In the dream world, NiGHTS is also able to dualize with someone's subconscious projection of themselves. Consider it a type of fusion. (With no dancing involved.) Basically, NiGHTS absorbs the Dream-self of someone else into their body. NiGHTS' appearance doesn't change, but now both of them have control over the Nightmaren body and are able to fly, do acrobatics, and perform special attacks through NiGHTS' magic. Obviously this takes a lot of coordination and especially permissions, so here's the place to plan for something like that.

If you're interested in having your character dualize with NiGHTS at any time, do know that either character can separate from the other whenever they want, and neither can see into the mind or memories of the other.
